New to Faith

The Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

God created us to have a relationship with him, but sin entered the world and separated us from God.  If we want to have our relationship restored with God, we need a Savior and that is why God sent his only son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

God sent Jesus as a free gift to us but we need to accept the gift.  Have you accepted Christ?  If not, simply pray and receive him into your life today.

“Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner and I need you.  I believe Jesus died to pay the penalty for my sin and that he rose again from the dead.  I accept your free gift of forgiveness and salvation, and I ask you to be the leader of my life.  I’m turning away from doing things my own way.  Please help me live my life for you.  Thank you for your forgiveness and the gift of new life.  Amen.”

Following Jesus is a life long journey and we want to help you grow in your faith.  Tell us about your decision to follow Jesus and we will provide you with some free online resources to help you grow in your faith.

Everyone should have the chance to explore their faith, ask questions, and share their point of view. Alpha at Emmanuel is a 10-week series of sessions exploring faith. Each Alpha experience is designed to encourage conversation and ask questions regarding your faith.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and you're ready to make a public declaration of this decision, we encourage you to participate by getting baptized in water during our next Water Baptism service. There will be a brief class right before the baptism where we'll go over what it means to be baptized and our beliefs behind it.
