Why We Give
We believe in the Biblical principal of the tithe – giving the first dollar of every ten to the church where God has planted us, is growing us. When we give God the first 10%, it demonstrates that we trust Him with the rest.
Once you are faithfully tithing, we would like you to consider giving above and beyond through the church to Kingdom Builders
Each year we set specific goals by partnering with local and global organizations so that we can impact our communities, invest in the next generation and sow into what God is doing all around the world with our monthly missionary partners
Ways To Give
Online
With the convenience of online giving you can establish a giving schedule that is consistent. You can set up automatic withdrawals either from your checking or savings account. You can also take advantage of your credit card award programs as you give with a card.
In Person Giving
If you prefer to write checks or give with cash you can fill out a giving envelope and put your gift in the offering during service.
Cryptocurrency
You can give your cryptocurrency as a donation to the church. Just give online by clicking one of the locations above to get started.
Stock Gifts
Donating appreciated stock will cost you less than making the same donation in cash. If you sell the appreciated stock you must first pay the capital gains tax and then donate the after-tax portion. When you donate appreciated stock you can deduct the full value of the stock and avoid paying the capital gains tax. The church receives the full value of the stock because, as a charitable organization, it is not required to pay the tax.
If your stock is held by your broker, contact our finance team at finance@emmanuelcc.org to receive the broker account number for. Then your broker merely transfers your stock to the account of Emmanuel. If you hold the stock certificate, send your certificate to Emmanuel, and we can assist you in signing a stock power and do the rest.
Qualified Charitable Distribution
If you are 70 ½ or older, you are eligible to give directly to Emmanuel from your IRA through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). Giving through a QCD is as simple as contacting your IRA custodian and instructing them to transfer any amount up to $100,000 per individual per year directly to Emmanuel from your IRA.
If you are 72 or older, a QCD can satisfy your annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). QCDs will also not count towards your taxable income for the year allowing you to be generous and receive even more tax benefits.

We’re also excited to be able to offer you ACH giving! This is huge because it allows you to give directly from a bank account, which allows more of your donation to go into resourcing God’s Kingdom.
