Summer is just around the corner and that means Kids Camp is coming! Emmanuel Kids will be traveling to Lake Geneva Christian Center in Alexandria, MN from June 20-23, 2018. If your child is currently in 2nd-5th grade, we would love to see them there! They will experience countless indoor and outdoor activities, relationship building with friends and counselors, and most importantly, getting to meet with God. We like to say that a week at camp is the equivalent of 52 Sunday services packed into five days. The cost of registration is $235 and the deadline to sign up is May 16th.

For a child to be FULLY registered for camp, please complete the following steps:
- Complete Lake Geneva Registration Form – Follow the link below to register through the Lake Geneva Campground. When prompted, use Emmanuel’s group reservation code: ECCKidsCamp.
- Complete Payment and Liability Forms– Once you register through the campground, a confirmation email will be sent with an additional form to complete. This online form will collect your initial $50 deposit as well as parental consent for your child to attend with Emmanuel. This form MUST be filled out in addition to the campground registration form.
- You’re All Set! – After both forms have been completed, you will receive information on what to bring, camp check-in times, busing information, and a link to make additional payments.
WHO CAN ATTEND KIDS CAMP?
Elementary age kids currently in 2nd-5th grade are invited to attend. We encourage our kids to invite their friends to join us, so it is NOT necessary for a student to attend Emmanuel to attend. Teenagers who are 13+ can apply to serve as part of the Rec Team (games and activities). Those who are 13+ can apply to serve as a counselor-in- training as well.
WHAT DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE?
The camp price includes: lodging, meals and transportation to and from the camp. When you check in on departure day, you can deposit money for your child in an account for snacks and/or souvenirs. Kids do not carry around their own money to prevent loss or theft. There are no optional “pay to play” activities at the camp, so your child will not miss out on any activities if they do not have extra spending money.
WHAT ARE CHECK-IN AND PICK-UP TIMES THE WEEK OF CAMP?
Check-in time is 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning at the Emmanuel Spring Lake Park campus. Buses load at 8:30 a.m. sharp on June 20th! Buses return to the Spring Lake Park campus at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday the 23rd.
CAN MY CHILD REQUEST TO STAY IN A CABIN WITH THEIR FRIENDS?
Yes, on the registration form your child can request friends to stay with. This is not guaranteed. The earlier you complete your registration form, the better chance for your child to stay with the friends requested.
WHO IS CHAPERONING AT KIDS CAMP?
We provide a counselor and CIT (counselor in training) for every group of 8 students. All the adults who attend must submit to a background check and participate in counselor training beforehand. Typically, we choose our counselors from adults who are currently serving in Kids ministry at Emmanuel, or whose children are part of our programs. All of our paid Kids Team staff members also attend as counselors or Color Team Pastors. If you or someone you know would like to attend as a counselor or CIT, please email .
