Abundant Living

Classes Offered at Recovery:

Finding Your Significance

This group is designed to assist adults who struggle with co-dependency or any form of dependencies. In this group you will receive tools to build healthy self-esteem, ways to value self and others. Learn to practice spiritual principles that will lead to abundant living and fulfillment in serving others the way God intended.

Women in Recovery
Are you experiencing the pain of betrayal? This group will help women navigate through the pain of infidelity or deceit and get back to a healthy life.

Anger Allies
Anger is a powerful emotion. It can be denied or suppressed. It can control someone or be properly managed. This group will teach individuals how to correctly process their thoughts and have anger work for them instead of against them.

Overcoming Anxiety and Depression
Experience God’s peace and joy by conquering anxiety and depression. Adults will learn how to appropriately manage thoughts and emotions so that life’s circumstances are viewed correctly and placed in the proper perspective.

Breaking Free
Many Christians are locked in a cycle of addiction, particularly in areas of alcohol and drug abuse. This group seeks to help people break the addiction cycle, along with the habits associated with it, so that they can be free. This group offers true freedom in Christ through a twelve-step recovery plan.

Living in Purity: Men only
Opportunities for sexual temptation permeate society and can be especially difficult for men of all ages to resist. It takes more than a little self-effort to resist sexual temptation. It takes a game plan. This group will help men create and work out a plan to be wholesome individuals in thoughts and actions.

Sexual Wholeness (Living in Purity): Women only

Women face their own battles in the realm of sexual integrity and purity.   Unfortunately, fear and shame have often kept them from seeking the help and support necessary in order to find true freedom in Christ. Join us as we share and grow together in this non-threatening, uplifting, and completely confidential group.

Network for Life/Prison Fellowship
This is an aftercare ministry for ex-prisoners and their families or those who have loved ones in prison now. Network for Life provides an alternative model of post-prison life in a positive, non-condemning way.

Grief and Loss
The loss of a family member or friend can be devastating. A person experiencing deep sorrow needs to be listened to, validated, and encouraged. The Grief and Loss support group will help individuals cope during times of deep sadness.

Marriage Support Group
Come and enjoy a variety of DVDs by different marriage experts and participate in group discussion. Healthy and unhealthy marriages alike will benefit from this group. This is a safe place to form new friendships, too.

DivorceCare
Separation or divorce can be a very traumatic event. The mental, physical, and spiritual toll it takes on a person can last for years. DivorceCare is for individuals who need help and healing from the pain of separation and divorce.

Hiding Hurting Healing: Women only

The teaching, Out of the Shadows, is designed for women who have experienced betrayal, abuse, traumatic experiences, or painful relationships. This program will help women live victoriously.
