Recovery Ministry

Tuesday evenings

Support Groups

These support groups begin in Room 209 for worship and main teaching.

New!  Anger Allies

Anger is a powerful force.  You can try to suppress it, deny it, let it control you, or learn to manage it.  Come learn how to process your anger and let it work for you instead of against you.

Living Free: Men and Women

Jesus said He came to give us life abundantly.  Are you experiencing the fruits of the Spirit such as love, joy, and peace in your day-to-day life?  Sometimes we have things in our past that have taken root and affect our lives.  Join us as we learn together how to walk the abundant life.

Breaking Free: Men and Women

Many Christians are locked in a cycle of addiction, particularly in the areas of alcohol and drug abuse. This group seeks to break the cycle and habits of addiction and offer true freedom through Christ.

Living in Purity: Men

Everywhere we turn today, sexual temptation rears its ugly head, but this is especially tempting for men.  It takes more than a little self-effort to resist temptation. It takes a Game Plan.  Join other Christian men who are working the plan.

Overcoming Anxiety and Depression: Men and Women

Is anxiety or depression tipping the scales against  God's joy in your life? Discover how to manage life's circumstances versus thoughts and emotions managing you.

Network for Life / Prison Fellowship

Ex-prisoners (men or women), families of prisoners or ex-prisoners, victim’s or volunteers interested in aftercare ministry are all welcomed. In a positive, non-condemning way Network for Life provides an alternative model of post-prison life. We are saints according to God's Word (Ephesians 1), and true freedom comes from realizing our identity in Christ.

Support Groups

Marriage Support Group

This group is for newlyweds to empty nesters. Whether you have a good marriage or not, you will be encouraged and amazed at what you will learn, not only from the teachings, but from the group discussions. This session will begin with a DVD series called “Marriage on the Rock”. You may join this group at any time. You are welcome to attend even if your spouse does not.

DivorceCare: Men and Women

One of the most tragic events a person can go through is a separation or divorce...the mental, physical and spiritual toll it puts on a person can last for years. DivorceCare is for individuals who need help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce.

Food for Thought

If you have battled with eating too much or too little, you know how defeating it can feel to lose the food war.  Food for Thought will bring practical nutrition and health tips as well as Biblical teaching and accountability in a supportive atmosphere.

NEW! Grief and Loss

If you’ve lost a family member or friend, you often find not many people know how to help.  You need to be listened to, validated and encouraged.  At Grief Support you will find the support you need to get through this time of deep hurt.
